Mohammed Abu-Mahfouz, MD, is an experienced board-certified internal medicine specialist serving patients at ARK Cardiovascular & Arrhythmia Center. At offices in Dearborn, Detroit, and Trenton, Michigan, and a diagnostic and imaging center in Trenton, Dr. Abu-Mahfouz provides compassionate individualized care focused on cardiovascular needs.
After earning his medical degree, Dr. Abu-Mahfouz completed a rotating internship at Zarka Governmental Hospital in Zarka, Jordan. He went on to complete his first internal medicine residency at Jordan University Hospital in Amman, Jordan.
Next, Dr. Abu-Mahfouz completed an internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He finished a gastroenterology fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit and then returned to Henry Ford Hospital to complete a general cardiology fellowship.
Dr. Abu-Mahfouz furthered his specialized cardiology training with an interventional cardiology fellowship at Wayne State University.
Dr. Abu-Mahfouz is board-certified in internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, cardiovascular CT angiography, vascular medicine, and endovascular medicine.
With his extensive experience covering the full spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, Dr. Abu-Mahfouz provides outstanding medical care for each and every patient.
