Hamid Sattar, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a skilled internal medicine and cardiovascular disease specialist at ARK Cardiovascular & Arrhythmia Center.

In offices in Dearborn, Detroit, and Trenton, Michigan, and a diagnostic and imaging center in Trenton, Dr. Sattar provides attentive care that focuses on interventional cardiology, cardiac CT angiography, and nuclear cardiology.

Dr. Sattar earned his medical degree at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He completed his internal medicine training, cardiology fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

He also completed a cardiac imaging fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a teaching hospital of Harvard University, in Boston, Massachusetts. 

Dr. Sattar is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, vascular medicine, vascular peripheral intervention, interventional cardiology, and cardiac CT angiography.

As a former chief of cardiac imaging, director of CT angiography, and director of nuclear cardiology at Harper University Hospital in Detroit, Dr. Sattar has the extensive specialized experience to successfully perform advanced procedures like coronary intervention, limb salvage, and carotid artery stenting.

Along with seeing patients at ARK Cardiovascular & Arrhythmia Center, Dr. Sattar maintains privileges at Michigan hospitals including The Detroit Medical Center Hospitals in Detroit; Oakwood Hospital Medical Center in Dearborn; Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Wyandotte, Michigan; Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan; St. Mary Mercy Livonia Hospital in Livonia, Michigan; and St. John Providence (Ascension St. John Hospital) in Detroit.
